The 2017 European Fintech 100 list is out and the battle for this year’s European FinTech Awards continues.
The European FinTech Awards is a yearly showcase of the most promising fintech companies in the region. With a total of nine awards up for grabs, B-Hive members – SettleMint (Blockchain), Cybersprint (Risk, Intelligence & Security) and Connective (Innovative Banking Software)– are making their way to the finals. They have bested more than 600 other start-ups in the selection round and are rightfully considered one of the top three companies in their respective categories.
Meet the B-Hive members who made it to the final pitch battle:
- Blockchain/Bitcoin category
Settlemint is a Belgian-based startup that helps organizations unlock the power of blockchain-based applications using a distributed modular middleware called Mint. These easy-to-use software development kits connect with all leading blockchain vendors and contain smart contract templates, API layers, micro services and browser components required to build full stack applications.
- Risk, Intelligence & Security category
Founded in the Netherlands, Cybersprint developed the first European digital risk monitoring platform that gives organizations real-time insight into their visible and hidden online vulnerabilities and risks.
- Innovative Banking Software category
Headquartered in Antwerp, Connective is a key player in European digital signature solutions. Its Digital Transaction Management software enables organizations to transform any paper-based customer transaction into an unparalleled digital user experience.
The final pitches will take place on September 27 and only 9 companies will bring home the prestigious FinTech Awards. B-Hive CEO Wim de Waele will also be speaking at the event on the topic of GDPR and regulatory sandboxes, as well as Managing Partner Jurgen Ingels on the topic of scaling.
