After a busy and productive week in Toronto, it’s almost hard to believe that this year’s edition of Sibos is already over.
After a successful launch event in New York for our presence in the Americas, B-Hive is looking ahead to Sibos this week in Toronto.
We were also proud to announce our involvement in the Global FinTech Hubs Federation (GFHF). We look forward to telling you all about our collaboration with leading international hubs, with whom we aim to create value-adding services for our members!
Eggsplore is powered by the biggest players in the Belgian financial services industry (AXA, Belfius, BNP Paribas Fortis, Cresco, Euroclear, ING, KBC, McKinsey, Proximus and SWIFT). They have invested in this initiative to boost Brussels as a digital finance center, and this has now been reinforced by Flanders Investment and Trade. Through the network and the support of Flanders Investment and Trade, Eggsplore and its members have the opportunity to present their innovative solutions at SIBOS.
Claire Tillekaerts, CEO at Flanders Investment & Trade: “We are proud to be able to bring the Belgian scale-ups and growth companies to Geneva. They will have the unique opportunity to meet in 4 days an international network of potential clients and showcase their technology to each Head of Innovation from all leading world-class banks. We have been supporting these FinTech companies and Eggsplore from the start in their (inter)national business development as we believe this is the next step in future growth; working and sharing within an ecosystem between corporates and scale-ups in order to set the next step towards Financial tech innovation”
We're bringing four stand partners on our booth (Unified Post, Guardsquare, The Glue, NG Data) who will have separates meetings and overall visibility on the booth. Also other members of our European community will be present (D!nk, PayKey, Delio, Gambit, Qover, Intellect EU, Intix, Sparkcentral, Loft, POM, Attica).
These tech companies are the core of the Eggsplore community, and they are further complemented by investment funds, universities and business schools, and other supporting professional services companies. Eggsplore aims at connecting companies through specific domain focused programs (Internet Of Things, Blockchain, Insurtech, Cybersecurity, …), offering all relevant companies the right platform to showcase their products and services. It also helps to increase their visibility through network events, foreign missions and seminars.
On the 3d of November, Eggsplore will be organizing its yearly conference, the Fintech Festival, at Flagey. It is the place to be to discuss technology and meet interesting contacts from all across Europe, in an informal and lively context.
In support of its community activities, Eggsplore is based in a physical hub in Diegem, close to the Brussels Airport. Besides offering affordable coworking spaces for its members, the building houses corporate incubators, training sessions, events and offers multiple networking opportunities. Eggsplore will be moving their rapidly growing community to a new larger state-of-the-art fintech building of 4400sqm in the first half of 2017.
